DISIBEX FORTE

How long can I continue treatment with DISIBEX FORTE?

Disibex forte can be taken on a long-term basis, but medical supervision is recommended to adjust the dose according to clinical response.

Can it be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

There is insufficient evidence on the safety of disibex forte supplementation during pregnancy and lactation. Consultation with a doctor is recommended.

What is the optimal time of day to take it?

It is recommended to be taken on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning before breakfast, to maximise the survival of probiotics through the gastrointestinal tract.

From what age can it be taken?

Most of the components of Disibex have no specific evidence on the minimum age for administration in children, and their use should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, preferably under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Can DISIBEX FORTE be taken during antibiotic treatment for Helicobacter pylori?

1. Saccharomyces boulardii can be taken during antibiotic treatment. Studies have shown that S. boulardii can improve the eradication rate of H. pylori and reduce gastrointestinal adverse effects.

2. Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus fermentum, and Lactobacillus reuteri. Probiotics containing these strains may be beneficial. The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) suggests the use of combinations of L. acidophilus, L. delbrueckii subsp bulgaricus, and B. bifidum to improve tolerance and adherence to H. pylori eradication therapy.

SIIK

How long can I continue treatment with SIIK?

SIIK can be taken on a long-term basis, but medical supervision is recommended to adjust the dose according to clinical response.

Can it be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

 L-Reuteri, Magnesium Hydroxide, Inositol, Fructooligosaccharides and Vitamin B6 are generally safe during pregnancy and lactation, while for the other components there is no specific data on their safety during pregnancy and lactation. Caution and consultation with a health care professional is recommended.

What is the optimal time of day to take it?

It is suggested to be taken in the morning to optimise its effects on the gut microbiota.

From what age can it be taken?

Most of the components of SIIK have no specific evidence on the minimum age for administration in children, and their use should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, preferably under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Can the low FODMAP diet be combined with SIIK (Inulin)?

No. Fructo-oligosaccharides are fermentable oligosaccharides and are therefore FODMAPs. Inositol is a polyol, which is a type of FODMAP.

COLESYN

How long can I continue treatment with COLESYN?

Treatment with Colesyn may be indicated on a chronic and continuous basis.

Can it be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

This supplement cannot be administered during lactation or pregnancy.

What is the best time to take it?

The best time for administration is in the evening after 18:00 hrs.

From what age can it be taken?

This supplement may be administered to persons > 18 years of age.

Can COLESYN be taken together with anticoagulant medication?

Red yeast rice may have mild anticoagulant effects, which could increase the risk of bleeding when combined with anticoagulants. It is important to closely monitor blood clotting when taking both types of medication to avoid complications.

SIBOK

Can antibiotic treatment be combined with SIBOK?

SIBOK can be safely combined with antibiotics and, in some cases, may even improve the efficacy of antibiotic treatment. However, it is always advisable to monitor the patient for any possible adverse interactions.

How long can I continue treatment with SIBOK?

Most of the components of SIBOK can be taken safely for prolonged periods, but it is advisable to periodically assess their need and efficacy, and to be aware of any adverse effects.

Can people intolerant to fructose take SIBOK?

Black garlic contains fructans, a type of fermentable carbohydrate that can be problematic for people with fructose malabsorption or intestinal bacterial overgrowth. However, a safe dose of garlic per day is 1 to 2 grams (approx. ½ small clove) per day. One capsule of SIBOK contains 50 mg.

Can it be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

There is insufficient evidence on the safety of SIBOK during pregnancy, so its use is not advised.
Although quercetin has antioxidant properties, animal studies have shown that it may interfere with embryo implantation and uterine development.
Although turmeric is generally safe in low doses, its use in high doses during pregnancy is not well studied and may have adverse effects.

What is the best time to take it?

In the morning at breakfast.

From what age can it be taken?

Use of these supplements in children should be done with caution and under the supervision of a healthcare professional. There is some evidence to support the safe use of L-arginine and turmeric in paediatric populations, but dosages and specific indications should be determined by a healthcare professional.

How long can I continue treatment with METABOK?

Metabok treatment can be continued for up to 52 weeks.

Can it be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

This supplement should not be taken during breastfeeding or pregnancy.

What is the best time to take it?

At any time of the day.

From what age can it be taken?

Metabok may be indicated in persons > 18 years of age.

RESOK

How long can I continue treatment with RESOK?

Resok can be taken long-term if it is well tolerated and effective, but monitoring for adverse effects and possible drug interactions should always be considered.

Can it be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

There is insufficient evidence on the safety of RESOK during pregnancy, so its use is not advised. Regular consumption of chamomile during pregnancy has been associated with an increased risk of preterm birth and low birth weight. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid its use during pregnancy. Fennel may shorten the length of gestation and should therefore be avoided during pregnancy. Ginger is one of the most studied herbal remedies and is considered safe in doses up to 1000 mg per day to relieve nausea and vomiting during the first trimester of pregnancy. However, its use in the second and third trimester should be used with caution due to possible effects on gestational duration.
